Overview
Not a router, the 2522-20 is an angled cut off tool from the FUEL line, meant for cutting through tough material. It is sold bare, with an instruction guide, so the user supplies the battery.
The reason to buy is a compact angled body in a battery tool, useful for cutting in tight areas. The limitation is that the box holds only the tool and guide, and the listing gives no disc size or speed.
Who it's for
Mechanics and installers on the same battery system can add a small cutter without buying another battery. Woodworkers looking for a router should buy an actual router.
Pros and cons
- Compact angled body
- M12 FUEL tool
- Metal and plastic build
- Battery and charger not in the box
- No disc size listed
- Not a router
Performance notes
A compact cut off tool trades reach for control, and the angled body lets it work close to a surface. Battery size from the owner's stock affects runtime and balance. Disc choice and material decide cut speed.
