Overview
Between two anchor trees, this GIBBON JibLine slackline stretches a polyester line tensioned by a stainless ratchet. The title calls it a jumpline and trickline, with TreeWear to protect the bark.
It comes ready to rig with a ratchet, a protector for the ratchet and tree pads. Coated stainless hardware helps against wear, and a lower load figure points to light use.
Who it's for
Park and backyard slackliners who like jumps and tricks are the target. Beginners wanting a longer or simpler setup, and heavy riders, should read the load rating.
Pros and cons
- Tree protection included
- Ratchet protector included
- Coated stainless hardware
- Load capacity listed modestly
- Piece count unclear
- Anchors not provided
Performance notes
A ratchet strap tensions the line between anchors, and tension and line length decide how much it sags and bounces. Polyester webbing stretches a bit, which gives the bounce used for tricks.
