Overview
Not a cordless grinder: this Metabo HPT unit plugs into a wall outlet and spins grinding wheels at speed. Five wheels come along with a carrying case, so work can start at once.
The wheel set and carrying case mean the grinder is usable straight from the box, and the corded supply gives steady power without battery limits. The limitation is the missing motor rating and wheel diameter, which a buyer needs to match wheels and guards.
Who it's for
A fabrication bench or home garage with an outlet nearby suits a corded grinder that arrives with wheels. Shoppers who work on roofs, fields or sites without power should choose a cordless model instead.
Pros and cons
- Wheels and case included
- Corded supply, no battery
- High maximum speed
- Light for an angle grinder
- Motor power not listed
- Wheel diameter unspecified
- Cord length unknown
Performance notes
Maximum speed sets how fast the wheel rim moves, and the wheels must be rated at least that fast. A corded motor delivers steady output while plugged in, so the result depends on the wheel type and how hard the work is pressed.
