At 1 amp, the GENIUS1 is NOCO's smaller charger and maintainer, built to trickle-charge and then hold a 6-volt or 12-volt battery rather than deliver a fast charge. It works on lead-acid types (AGM, gel, SLA, VRLA) and on lithium-ion LiFePO4 batteries.
A built-in thermal sensor adjusts the charge rate for ambient temperature, and Force Mode lets it attempt to revive batteries that have dropped all the way to zero volts, which most basic chargers refuse to touch. It is rated to stay connected indefinitely as a maintainer once the battery is full.
