Gentle Monster Wooden Wobble Balance Board

Overview

Gentle Monster makes this curved wooden board as a rocker for balance training and open-ended play. The long, narrow deck suits kids in the classroom and adults at a desk or in a yoga routine.

A single board serves play, balance and stretching, and the high weight limit covers adults as well as children. The listing gives no finish, grip or tilt height, and the length is written two ways.

Who it's for

Families, teachers and office workers who want a simple wooden rocker for balance and movement. Users who need a textured top or a defined tilt limit should look for a board that lists them.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

A curved base lets the deck rock under the feet, so the user shifts weight to hold balance. Wider stances and slow movements make it steadier, and a narrow stance makes it harder. Bare wood can be slick, so shoes or a mat under the board change how it feels.
