Overview
Not a pitcher or a clip-on faucet unit, the WD-10UA-UF is a compact under-sink filter that sends tap water through activated carbon from inside the cabinet. The listing says its components are NSF/ANSI approved.
A small body and a large gallon rating make it easy to fit and slow to wear out on paper. What the listing lacks is any list of included parts, connection types or contaminants reduced.
Who it's for
A homeowner with a plumbed kitchen sink and a clear spot in the cabinet is the intended user. A renter who cannot work on the plumbing, or a buyer who wants a listed reduction claim, should shop elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Compact under-sink body
- High gallon rating
- Activated carbon media
- Light for its size
- Included parts not listed
- No contaminant claims given
- Fittings and faucet details missing
Performance notes
Carbon media adsorbs chlorine and taste compounds as water moves through, so contact time and flow set the result. The large gallon rating is a ceiling, and a hard or dirty supply will bring replacement forward.
