Overview
Fitting beneath the sink, this ultra filtration cartridge treats water for a single tap from inside the cabinet. The body is a slim upright tube, and the listing says its components are NSF/ANSI approved.
Ultra filtration and a very high gallon rating put it in the long-service group among under-sink units. That capacity demands height, and the listing leaves flow rate, fittings and reduction claims blank.
Who it's for
A homeowner with a clear upright space under the sink wants a long-lasting filter that is simple to leave alone. Anyone with a shallow cabinet, a renter who cannot touch plumbing, or a buyer who needs hard reduction data should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Very high gallon rating
- Ultra filtration stage
- Slim body footprint
- Tall body needs cabinet height
- Flow rate not stated
- No contaminant claims given
Performance notes
Ultra filtration passes water through fine membrane pores, so the pore size and available pressure decide flow and what is blocked. The listing gives neither, so treat the gallon rating as a service ceiling and not a guarantee of results.
