Overview
KastKing lists this fillet knife with a TPE rubber and glass reinforced polypropylene material and an orange finish. The size field gives the blade class and the length field gives an overall figure.
The reason to look at it is a clearly stated size and weight for a fish cleaning tool. The limits are the missing blade steel, sheath information and handle shape. The special field reads straight pins, which the listing does not explain.
Who it's for
A home angler cleaning catch and wanting a knife with a defined size. Professional processors, or anyone wanting a sheath and the blade steel described, should look at a fuller listing.
Pros and cons
- Size and length stated
- Rubber material listed
- Blade steel not listed
- Sheath not described
- Special field unexplained
Performance notes
Blade length sets how easily the knife follows the bone, and weight affects control during long cutting sessions. The listing does not say which part uses the rubber and polypropylene material. Edge life depends on blade steel, which is not stated.
