Overview
A thermal sensor behind the lens turns heat differences into an image the user views through the eyepiece. This AGM model adds digital zoom, color palettes and distance measurement support, and it mounts with an integral mount.
A short lens suits shorter shots where a wide view matters, and digital zoom adds reach but gives up detail. Waterproof and shockproof ratings suit field use. The listing never gives battery life or recoil rating.
Who it's for
Hunters who track warm game at night within moderate distances. Long-range shooters, or buyers who need battery runtime, should look at a longer lens model.
Pros and cons
- Waterproof and shockproof
- Four color palettes
- Distance measurement support
- Digital zoom only
- Battery life not listed
- Recoil rating missing
Performance notes
The sensor draws a picture from heat, so the scope works in total darkness and through light fog. Digital zoom enlarges the image rather than adding detail, so heavy zoom looks coarser. Palettes change how heat maps to brightness, and the choice affects target contrast.
