Overview
Connecting this piano to a laptop over USB-MIDI lets it drive a DAW or a MIDI editor, while the triple pedal and music stand are supplied for practice. A retro wood color gives it a furniture look.
The reason to consider it is the full-size weighted keyboard with pedals and a stand-style music rest in one package. The limitation is missing detail on the sound engine, speakers and polyphony.
Who it's for
Home learners who want the feel of weighted keys and the option to record or practice with software will find the basics here. Players who need a speaker spec or a long sound list should look at another listing.
Pros and cons
- Triple pedal included
- Music stand included
- USB-MIDI to DAWs
- Speaker details absent
- Dimensions listed two ways
- Sound engine not described
Performance notes
Weighted keys add resistance that mimics an acoustic action, and the triple pedal gives sustain and other pedal effects. USB-MIDI carries note data to a computer, where software generates sounds or records the performance. A headphone jack allows quiet practice.
