Overview
A playroom, a family event or a birthday outing is where this kids camera gets used. It takes photos and video with a lens that cannot zoom, has a selfie camera, and a print feature is named in the title. The body is ultracompact with an LCD screen.
A simple automatic camera with a fun activity book gives a child an easy first camera without menus. The limitation is mixed detail: the memory card size appears as two values, there is no flash, and some technical fields look off for a novice camera.
Who it's for
Kids who like to take pictures and videos of everyday life will use the automatic modes. The skill level is novice and the use cases are family photos, events and self-portraits. Photographers wanting zoom or a flash should look at another type of camera.
Pros and cons
- Automatic shooting modes for novices
- Selfie camera included
- Video recording supported
- Scavenger hunt book in the kit
- Fixed zoom lens
- Memory size listed as 16 GB and 32 GB
Performance notes
Image quality depends on the small sensor and a lens locked to one view. Autofocus works by contrast detection, and the automatic exposure handles settings for the child. With no flash, indoor shots in dim rooms will need good light.
