Overview
Mounting on a wall behind the listening seat, these Sony rear speakers add surround channels to a compatible soundbar system, in a compact black body with a mid-size driver.
Sony lists a small cube-like body and a wall mount type, which suits placement behind a sofa. The weight entry is nonsense, the connectivity says wired against a wireless title, and no compatible soundbar models are named.
Who it's for
Owners of a matching Sony soundbar who want surround effects behind the seat suit these speakers. Anyone without a confirmed compatible bar should check first.
Pros and cons
- Wall mount type listed
- Compatible models not named
- Weight entry is unusable
- Wired and wireless entries conflict
Performance notes
Rear speakers add width and depth by placing effects behind the listener, so height and distance from the seat matter. Wireless links carry the signal from the bar, and the speakers need power at their location. The listing gives no frequency range or power rating.
