Overview
Stagg makes this brass tuba in B flat with a polished gold finish. A mouthpiece is listed as included, and the title adds a case that the included components do not confirm.
A brass body in a standard pitch makes it a usual choice for a band program. The listing gives no bell size, valve count or dimensions, so check those before committing.
Who it's for
Band students and ensembles needing a basic low brass instrument will find the pitch and materials standard. Buyers who need confirmed dimensions or a documented case should ask the seller first.
Pros and cons
- Common B flat pitch
- Brass body, polished gold finish
- Warranty against manufacturer defects
- Case named in title, not in contents
- Bell size and valve count not listed
- Dimensions not listed
Performance notes
A brass body carries the deep tuba tone through the bell. Tuning and playing resistance depend on bore and valve design, which the listing does not describe.
