Overview
HANDBODE offers these Olympic bumper plates in colored crumb rubber, sold as a weight set with a seven foot black barbell named in the color field. The title adds a bench press angle.
Recycled rubber and Olympic sizing suit home lifting, and a bar in the set would save a separate purchase. The count of fifty-one pieces reads oddly against a hundred pound weight, so the contents deserve a check.
Who it's for
Garage lifters outfitting a bench press setup are the audience suggested by the title. Anyone who needs to know the plate denominations, or whether a bar is included, must ask.
Pros and cons
- Recycled crumb rubber
- Olympic style plates
- Colored plates for sorting
- Barbell named in the color field
- Count and weight do not match
- Bar inclusion is unclear
- Plate denominations are not listed
Performance notes
Crumb rubber absorbs impact on the floor, and the high-bounce label in the title signals a lively rebound when plates are dropped. Fit depends on an Olympic sleeve, and the listing gives no hole size.
