ASIN: B0DCTYZ98DCategory: Bait Traps
Overview
A steel frame holds a nylon mesh in shape and collapses flat when folded, forming a large trap for taking minnows and crawdads for live bait.
Folding makes storage easy, and the mesh and frame suit shallow water. Entry size, mesh gap and bait holder details are missing, so the size of fish it takes is uncertain.
Who it's for
Catching live bait in shallow water is the situation, with a trap that folds for transport. Buyers needing a stated mesh size, or a clear number of traps, will find neither.
Pros and cons
- Folds flat for transport
- Nylon mesh over steel frame
- Large open size
- Mesh size not stated
- Entrance details missing
- Trap count unclear
Performance notes
Bait enters through the trap openings and has trouble finding its way out, while the steel frame holds the shape and the nylon mesh lets water through. Retrieval depends on a line or rope that the listing does not mention.
