Overview
Zeiss's Conquest V6 5-30x50 is the most compact high-magnification scope in the V6 line, built with fluoride glass throughout and T* multi-coating for a rated 92 percent light transmission. It ships with the non-illuminated AHR #90 reticle, an external elevation turret with ballistic stop, capped windage, and adjustable parallax, in quarter-MOA clicks.
Zeiss pitches the wide 5-30x zoom range as suited to mid- to long-range hunting across open terrain, including varmint and predator hunting where reach matters. The AHR #90 reticle is designed specifically for long-range holdover in MOA, and the ballistic stop on the external elevation turret is meant to let a hunter return quickly to a known zero after dialing for a shot. It is made in Germany, which Zeiss ties to its precision mechanics and long-term reliability claims.
- 5-30x50mm magnification with compact V6 body
- Fluoride (FL) glass with Zeiss T* coating
- AHR #90 non-illuminated reticle in MOA
- External elevation turret with ballistic stop, quarter-MOA clicks
Who it's for
Suits a hunter shooting mid to long range in open country who wants a compact, high-magnification scope with strong low-light performance from the fluoride glass and T* coating. Less suited to close-range or dense-woods hunting, where the 5-30x range and 50mm objective are more scope than needed.
Strengths and trade-offs
Drawn from this product's published specifications.
- Fluoride glass throughout with a rated 92 percent light transmission
- External elevation turret with ballistic stop for returning to zero
- Adjustable parallax and capped windage turret
- LotuTec coating sheds water in wet conditions
- Non-illuminated reticle, no low-light aiming point
- 50mm objective and 5-30x range add size versus lower-power scopes
- No rating or review data attached to this listing
Performance notes
The Ultra-FL concept uses SCHOTT fluoride glass through the optical path, which Zeiss says holds color fidelity and resolution even in low light, backed by T* coating tuned lens by lens for contrast. LotuTec coating on the external lens surfaces is meant to shed rain and keep the view clear in wet conditions, and the adjustable parallax lets the shooter fine-tune focus at different distances.
