Overview
A desk where a laptop drives an external monitor is the setting for this braided DisplayPort cable. It is black, and the listing marks it for indoor use only.
A high stated data rate and refresh rate are the reasons to look at it. The limitation is the listing, which gives no cable length, no DisplayPort version and no connector gender.
Who it's for
A home office or gaming desk with a laptop that has a DisplayPort output suits the listing. Buyers who need a precise length or version, or who plan to run it through a wall or outdoors, should confirm those first.
Pros and cons
- High stated data rate
- High refresh rate listed
- Length not listed
- DisplayPort version not stated
- Indoor use only
Performance notes
Image modes depend on the weakest link, since the graphics output, the monitor input and the cable all need to support the same standard. A braided jacket resists tangling and is easier to route. The listed rates are ratings and not a guarantee of any combination.
