Overview
A square drive head driven by a brushless motor is the core of the AVID POWER ACIW1002 impact wrench. The kit adds a fast charger, impact sockets, a tool bag and a spare battery.
Completeness is the reason to consider it, since batteries and sockets let it work out of the box. The torque figure is stated in newton meters and the drive size is missing, so socket compatibility should be checked.
Who it's for
Home garages doing wheel and suspension work. Anyone who needs a specific drive size must confirm it first.
Pros and cons
- Two batteries included
- Fast charger and sockets included
- Tool bag for carrying
- Brushless motor named
- Drive size not stated
- Speed not stated
- Heavy tool with batteries
Performance notes
Torque decides which fasteners it can break loose, and a brushless motor wastes less energy as heat. Two batteries let you swap packs while one charges. Weight and length affect handling in tight engine bays.
