Overview
Paddlers carrying a boat to the water get a detachable frame with a TPR sleeve that cushions the hull and a ratchet strap to hold it down. Foldable support legs steady the cart during loading, and the quick-detach design folds it down for storage.
The wide airless tires are the reason to look at this model, since the seller says they glide over sand, gravel and grass without maintenance. The composite frame is light and easy to stow, but it is not the metal build some paddlers expect.
Who it's for
A paddler who walks a boat over beach and grass and wants a cart that detaches for the car trunk will be well served. Anyone hauling a boat heavier than the rating, or wanting an all-metal frame, should choose differently.
Pros and cons
- Larger airless tires for loose ground
- Foldable support legs aid solo loading
- TPR sleeve cushions the hull
- Quick-detach for easy storage
- Composite frame, not metal
- Heavier than a small folding cart
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
A wider airless tire spreads load across sand and gravel and never needs air. The low center of gravity and folding legs steady the boat while it is loaded. The TPR sleeve and ratchet strap hold the hull in place, so grip depends on cinching the strap down fully.
