Overview
A fine powder takes the place of a wet bath, working as a waterless dog shampoo and pet deodorizer. It is made in the USA, talc free and uses natural, non-toxic ingredients per the listing.
The reason to look at it is the no-water convenience for a smelly or itchy dog, with a talc-free base. The limitation is that powder is a stop-gap between washes and the data gives no application directions.
Who it's for
Owners of dogs that pick up odor or scratch dry skin, and who cannot bathe them often, can use it as a refresher. A pet with a skin infection or a coat full of mud needs a wash and likely a vet.
Pros and cons
- No water needed
- Made in the USA
- Coverage not stated
- Directions not listed
- Species line is inconsistent
- Scent field is a size label
Performance notes
Powder absorbs oils and odors from the coat as it is worked in, then is brushed out, so results depend on how thoroughly it is distributed and removed. It deodorizes but does not rinse dirt away. Heavy soiling still needs water.
