Overview
Playing and recording tapes, this portable deck adds a radio, a built-in speaker and microphone, and a headphone jack for private listening. An earphone ships with it, and power comes from a battery or the wall.
One compact unit covers tape playback, voice or tape recording and local radio stations, with no need for a separate speaker. The limit is a short spec sheet, with no output wattage, tape-type or recording-format details.
Who it's for
A desk, nightstand or travel bag where tapes, news radio and a quick voice memo all matter. Anyone transferring tapes to a computer should confirm the output options first, since only a headphone jack is listed.
Pros and cons
- Plays and records cassettes

Performance notes
Tape playback quality depends on the cassette condition and the tape heads, and the built-in speaker is limited by its small size. Radio reception depends on signal strength and the position of the unit. The headphone jack bypasses the speaker for private listening.
