Overview
Aspen DTV2BUHF is a black-and-silver digital TV antenna from Aspen, built on Eagle Aspen technology and weighing about 2 pounds, for pulling in local over-the-air broadcast channels.
Free over-the-air antennas like this one trade a one-time purchase for a monthly subscription bill, but actual channel count always comes down to distance from local towers and what's in between.
- Built on Eagle Aspen technology
- Black and silver two-tone finish
- 2 lb weight
Who it's for
This suits a household near broadcast towers that wants a simple entry point into local news, network affiliates and other free channels without new cabling. It is not the pick for anyone who needs a documented range or gain number before deciding, since none is listed.
Pros and cons
- Simple setup for free local channels
- Light at about 2 pounds
- Black and silver finish blends with most TVs
- No published reception range or gain figure
- No mounting type specified
Performance notes
The antenna's job is simply to capture over-the-air broadcast signals and hand them to your TV's tuner; how many channels you actually get depends on distance from transmitters, terrain and any obstructions, none of which this listing quantifies. At 2 pounds it is light enough for typical indoor placement near a window or on top of a TV.
