Overview
A vehicle seat position is where this Cosco seat goes, facing forward and held down by its belt. The listing describes a fabric cover and gives the age range only as kid, with no further description.
Low weight and belt installation make the setup simple, with no separate base to manage. The limitation is how little the listing says: harness type, height limits and minimum weight are all missing.
Who it's for
A child who already rides facing forward and stays under the stated weight rating is the situation described. Parents of infants, or anyone who needs harness or rear-facing details, should choose a seat whose listing states them.
Pros and cons
- Forward facing with seat belt installation
- Light at 2.2 pounds
- Weight capacity stated at 100 pounds
- Harness details not listed
- Rear facing not offered
- Age range given only as kid
- No height limit stated
Performance notes
Installation relies on the vehicle restraint alone, so the result depends on how well it routes around the seat and the child. The weight rating sets the upper limit, and the listing offers no further guidance on fit.
