Overview
Someone screening visitors for metal gets a handheld wand that scans all metals and reports with a choice of alarms. A black ABS plastic case houses the electronics, and an LED display shows its status.
Selectable alerts suit checkpoints where a loud alarm is unwelcome, and the light case is easy to carry through a shift. The listing gives no sensitivity, detection depth or battery details, and the description text belongs to another brand, so rely on the specs.
Who it's for
Security staff who need a light handheld wand with quiet or audible alerts. Hobbyists searching soil or beaches should look at a ground detector.
Pros and cons
- Scans all metals
- Silent, vibrate and audible alarm options
- Light ABS plastic case
- Detection depth not listed
- Battery type not described
- Handheld wand only, no ground search
Performance notes
The wand reacts to metal close to it and signals through the LED and the selected alarm mode. Calibration happens by itself, so no manual tuning is described. Range depends on the metal and its size, which the listing does not specify.
