Overview
An oil free pneumatic driver with a Smart Point nose sets brad nails when connected to an air supply. The body is rectangular plastic with a brushed finish, and a carrying case ships with it.
No oil to add means less upkeep, and the extra no-mar tips protect surfaces during setting. The limitation is unlisted detail: there is no gauge, magazine capacity or operating pressure in the listing.
Who it's for
Trim and light woodwork with a compressor already in the shop suit an air powered brad nailer. Cordless users, or those needing framing size fasteners, should look at a different class of tool.
Pros and cons
- Oil free operation
- Carrying case included
- Spare no-mar tips included
- Air fitting included
- Needs a separate air compressor
- Gauge and magazine size not listed
- Operating pressure range unspecified
Performance notes
Driving depth depends on supplied air pressure and on how firmly the nose is pressed to the work. The no-mar tip protects the surface, and the Smart Point tip is aimed at nail placement. Oil free operation avoids oil marks on finished work.
