Overview
Smoothing wood, trim and painted surfaces from a wall outlet is the job of this corded DeWalt sander. The listing states a motor rating, speed and weight but leaves the pad and attachment details out.
Corded power removes any battery limit on long sanding sessions, and the stated weight is light enough for extended use. The limitation is that pad type, disc size and dust handling are all unlisted.
Who it's for
Cabinet refinishing, deck railings and trim work close to power suit a corded sander. A buyer who needs a specific disc or hook and loop pad should confirm it with the maker, since the listing does not say.
Pros and cons
- Corded power, no battery limit
- Light for long sessions
- Voltage and amperage stated
- Speed figure stated
- Pad size not listed
- Disc type unclear
- Dust handling missing
- Cord limits reach
Performance notes
Motor power and rotational speed decide how fast the pad removes material, while the grade of abrasive and the pressure applied decide how smooth the result is. Weight matters over long sessions, since a light sander needs less effort to hold.
