Overview
A finger operated ball rests in a bearing cradle on this large right handed trackball mouse. The ball pops out through a hole in the base for cleaning, and a switch changes the tracking resolution.
Moving only the fingers reduces wrist motion, and the button count covers common shortcuts. The listing mentions batteries for a wired mouse, which looks like an inconsistency, so check what ships.
Who it's for
Office and design workers who want to keep the arm still and steer with the finger. Anyone wanting a cordless unit, a left hand layout or a compact body should look at another trackball.
Pros and cons
- Eight programmable buttons
- Switchable resolution settings
- Removable ball for cleaning
- Works on PC and Mac
- Right hand layout only
- Battery listing conflicts with wired design
- Large body takes desk space
Performance notes
An optical sensor tracks the ball rotation, and three switchable resolution levels trade fine control for speed. Dust collects under the ball over time, so occasional cleaning maintains smooth tracking.
