Overview
A large, finger operated trackball with a USB receiver in the box, built so the whole hand can rest on it. The ball is held by bearings, and the optical sensor is the gaming grade type the maker describes.
Wireless freedom without moving the whole arm helps with wrist strain, and the battery rating is long. The spec table says one AAA battery while the description says two AA, which is worth settling before ordering.
Who it's for
Office users who want to cut wrist movement and keep cables off the desk. Anyone needing a left hand layout, or a travel sized mouse, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Cordless 2.4GHz receiver
- Long rated battery life
- Removable ball for cleaning
- Battery type conflicts in listing
- Right hand layout only
Performance notes
An optical sensor reads the ball movement and the receiver relays it over the radio link at the stated range. Battery life depends on the cell type and use, and dust under the ball needs occasional cleaning to keep tracking smooth.
