Overview
A job site without a nearby outlet is where this cordless DeWalt saw earns its place. The listing gives its voltage, speed, capacity and carbide material, but does not state the saw type or what comes with it.
The reason to buy is a high voltage cordless platform with a stated cutting capacity and fast blade speed. The limit is clarity, because the listing lacks blade diameter, bevel range and a battery or charger.
Who it's for
Framing and cutting crews working where running a cord is a nuisance are the target. Anyone who needs a confirmed blade size or a ready-to-run kit should read the manufacturer sheet, since the listing gives neither.
Pros and cons
- High voltage cordless platform
- Fast stated blade speed
- Cutting capacity stated
- Carbide cutting material
- Saw type not described
- Battery and charger not mentioned
- Heavy at the listed weight
Performance notes
Higher voltage lets the motor hold speed through thick material, and the speed rating sets how quickly the teeth clear the cut. Carbide teeth stay sharp longer in abrasive lumber. Run time depends on the battery pack, which this listing does not specify.
