A Graco car seat listed as rear facing with LATCH installation. The weight capacity looks unusually high for that orientation, so confirm the real limits with Graco.

Overview
The rear seat of a car with LATCH anchors is where this Graco 1992117 goes. The listing gives the age range as kid, the frame as alloy steel, and the orientation as rear facing.
LATCH gives a belt-free path for a rigid install. The limitation is clarity, because the capacity and age range do not obviously match a rear facing child seat.
Who it's for
Families with LATCH anchors in the back seat can use the install path the listing names. Parents who need to know exact height limits or a forward facing mode must contact the maker.
Pros and cons
- LATCH install path
- Alloy steel build
- Rear facing orientation
- Generous weight rating
- Height limits not listed
- Age range vague
- Forward facing mode not stated
Performance notes
LATCH connects the seat directly to anchors in the vehicle, so fit depends on anchor position. Rear facing use supports a child's back and neck, and the listing gives no further adjustment details.
