More from this brandAll Waterdrop refrigerator water filtersOverview
A refrigerator owner adds this activated carbon cartridge into the water line, using the supplied quarter-inch tubing. It is NSF certified and listed for chlorine, taste and odor reduction.
A year-long cartridge and included tubing give a simple line-filter addition. The limits are that fittings and install tools are not listed, and it fits specific line sizes only.
Who it's for
Households with a quarter-inch fridge supply line who want cleaner ice and water. Those needing a full under-sink system should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons

- Compatible with a listed 3M system
- Fittings not listed
- Install tools not listed
- Line size must match

Performance notes
Water flows through activated carbon, which adsorbs chlorine and odor compounds and traps sediment. Flow can drop as the cartridge loads. Capacity and water quality set how long the year-long rating holds.
