Overview
Not a tonneau or a bed cover despite the style name in the listing, the RCM687 is a rubber floor mat that rolls out inside a Jeep Gladiator bed. The textured face is skid-resistant and the cut follows the bed contours.
A Gladiator owner who loads tools, gear and cargo onto bare bed metal gets a rubber surface that takes the scuffing. The spec sheet is thin, with no weight, size or color given, and the listing mixes in terms such as latch and bed cover that do not describe a floor mat.
Who it's for
Jeep Gladiator JT drivers who want a rubber floor under their cargo and are happy with a loose, drop-in mat. Someone expecting a latching cover, or needing exact mat dimensions up front, should ask the seller first.
Pros and cons
- Cut for the Gladiator bed
- Textured face limits cargo slide
- Installs with no tools
- Recycled rubber construction
- Mat dimensions not listed
- Spec sheet mentions latch and bed cover
- May carry trace fibers from recycled rubber
- Weight and color not given
Performance notes
A textured rubber surface grips cargo so loads move less on braking and turns. The thickness cushions knocks from tools and gear, which spares the bare metal floor from scrapes and wear.
