Overview
ARENTI makes this white dome camera for wall mounting in a nursery, kitchen or bedroom, with infrared light for night color. A phone app controls it, and it works with voice assistants.
High resolution, generous night viewing and a water resistant body make it a flexible camera for several rooms. The picture is digital zoom only, and the display named in the title is not described in the specs.
Who it's for
Homes with good Wi-Fi where a camera can be screwed to a wall and watched on a phone. A family expecting a standalone display unit should confirm it is in the box.
Pros and cons
- High resolution picture
- Long night vision range
- Water resistant body
- Works with voice assistants
- Digital zoom only
- Display not confirmed in specs
Performance notes
Image detail comes from a CMOS sensor at full high definition, and infrared light powers the night color view. Digital zoom enlarges the picture rather than adding detail. Wi-Fi quality decides how smoothly the phone app streams.
