Professional Metal Detector for Adults.

Overview

Gbnryg builds this detector around a large waterproof search coil, a backlit LCD and a DSP chip for processing signals. A shaft extends to a stated full length, and the listing positions it for beach and gold hunting.

Reason to buy: the big coil covers ground quickly and the waterproof rating applies to the coil in the title. Limitation: the listing never says what powers it beyond battery, how deep it detects or whether the electronics housing is watertight.

Who it's for

Beach and field hunters who want wide ground coverage and a selection of modes will like the large coil and the screen. Newcomers needing a simple, light unit or detailed specifications should look at better-documented options.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

A larger coil covers more ground per sweep and reaches deeper on large targets, but it is less sharp on small ones. The modes change how the detector treats different metals, and the DSP chip handles signal processing. An IP68 coil can go into water, though the control box is a separate question.
