Overview
Cutting material up to its listed capacity, this DeWalt is a battery powered saw built with metal parts on a twenty volt platform. The listing gives speed, motor power and weight but not the blade type.
Its strength is cordless cutting with a clearly stated capacity and speed. The limitation is how little else is listed: blade style, battery, charger and guard details are all missing, so it needs checking before it goes on a shopping list.
Who it's for
Contractors and installers who cut on site without a cord are the audience. Anyone needing a clear blade type, an included battery or a full specification should look at a listing with more detail.
Pros and cons
- Cordless battery operation
- Stated cutting capacity
- Stated top speed
- Blade type not stated
- Battery and charger unclear
Performance notes
Cutting depth and speed set how far and how quickly it works, while motor power and battery output decide how well it holds speed under load. The listing gives the figures but not the blade, which governs finish quality.
