Overview
A parent with a toddler ready to face forward gets a Chicco seat built from metal, plastic and polyester, secured with a belt lock-off or the LATCH system.
Two install methods give flexibility across vehicles, and the mixed metal, plastic and fabric build is stated outright. The limitation is thin detail on harness style and height range, and the seat cannot face the rear.
Who it's for
Families moving a toddler out of an infant seat into a forward-facing one match the design. Parents of babies who need rear-facing, or buyers who want published height and harness limits, should check other listings.
Pros and cons
- Forward-facing toddler seat
- Belt lock-off or LATCH install
- Metal, plastic and polyester build
- High stated weight capacity
- Height limits not listed
- Harness style missing
Performance notes
Installation quality drives protection here. The belt lock-off clamps the vehicle seat belt, and LATCH is the alternative, so either way the seat has to be pulled tight against the vehicle seat. Metal in the build points to some structural parts, though the listing does not say where.
