Overview
An auto-tracking camera head turns to follow movement across a full circle of view, while a separate parent display and a phone app show the feed. Motion, cry and sound detection trigger alerts, and a soothing night light is built in.
Wide coverage, auto-tracking and detection alerts make it a camera for a whole room, not just a crib view. The listing is clear that it is indoor only, and it mixes two links: a wireless link to the display and Wi-Fi for the phone app.
Who it's for
A playroom or nursery where the camera stands on a shelf and watches the whole floor. Households with no smartphone or tablet will get less from it, since the app is a main control route.
Pros and cons
- Auto-tracking across a wide view
- Motion, cry and sound detection
- Phone and tablet app control
- Battery-powered parent display
- Indoor use only
- App control depends on Wi-Fi
- Display resolution not listed
- Camera needs mains power
Performance notes
Auto-tracking depends on the camera detecting movement, so a still child or a cluttered scene gives less reliable following. The link to the parent display is wireless, while the phone app goes over a home Wi-Fi network, so app viewing needs network coverage near the camera. The display battery runtime is not stated.
