Overview
Gliding across a micro-weave cloth surface over rubber foam is the idea behind this Razer Gigantus V2 XXL mat, here in a Gengar design. It is oversized to hold a keyboard and mouse, with an anti-slip base.
The reason to buy is the huge surface, which the description says is optimized for all mouse sensors, in a collectible design. The limitation is the size, which needs a wide desk, and conflicting thickness figures.
Who it's for
Gamers and Pokemon fans with a wide desk are the target. Compact setups and small desks do not have room for this size.
Pros and cons
- Rubber foam cushioning
- Needs a wide desk
- Thickness stated two ways
- Weight entry unusable
Performance notes
The textured micro-weave gives controlled glide for flicks and slow aim alike, and the rubber foam underneath cushions the hand and stays flat on uneven surfaces. The anti-slip base holds the mat in place under hard swipes. The listing says it is optimized for all mouse sensors.
