MILESEEY GeneSonic Go Handheld Golf GPS

Overview

MiLESEEY builds this handheld golf GPS around a color touchscreen and satellite positioning rather than a laser. It carries course maps onboard, charges over a USB-C cable and holds to metal with a strong magnet or rides in the hand.

Course maps come preloaded and the listing says no subscription is needed, so there is no ongoing fee to track. The seller gives no weight, dimensions or measuring range, and GPS positioning depends on the unit finding a satellite fix on the course.

Who it's for

A regular golfer who plays many different courses and wants maps already stored on the device. Players who want a laser reading, or need weight and size figures before buying, will find the listing thin.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Distances come from a built-in GPS fix, so accuracy follows satellite reception and how current the stored course map is, not a laser beam to the flag. The touchscreen is how you move between holes and views. A sealed body with a water resistance rating stops rain and splashes from reaching the electronics.
