Overview
Not a cordless model, this PORTER-CABLE saw runs from a corded electric supply and has a metal and steel build. Its listing gives a capacity, a speed and a weight, but no saw type.
The capacity number suggests it is meant for sizeable stock, and a corded motor means no battery to manage. The limitation is how little else is listed: no saw type, no blade, and a motor power figure that looks implausibly low.
Who it's for
A workshop with a power outlet and floor or bench space suits a heavy corded saw. Mobile users, or those who need blade and guard details before buying, should look at a fuller listing.
Pros and cons
- Large capacity figure
- Metal and steel build
- Speed figure listed
- Saw type not stated
- Heavy at the listed weight
- Motor power figure looks wrong
Performance notes
Capacity sets the largest piece it can cut, and the listed speed shows how fast the blade turns. A corded motor holds output steady for repeated cuts. Blade type, guard and stand details are not given, so safe setup depends on the manual.
