Overview
A buyer wanting to watch a whole nursery gets a dome camera on a wall bracket or a tabletop, linked wirelessly to a handheld viewer. The listing adds infrared light, a plastic enclosure and a freestanding mounting option.
What stands out is the moving camera, which sweeps the room instead of staring at one spot, along with motion alerts and sound detection. The limit is the standard definition video and the battery requirement on the viewer.
Who it's for
Households with a baby sleeping in a nursery or bedroom will find the screen size and camera movement useful. Parents wanting high definition video or app access should look at a connected camera.
Pros and cons
- Pan, tilt and zoom camera
- Large parent viewer
- Audio and motion alerts
- Wall mount bracket included
- Standard definition video
- Indoor use only
- Not phone compatible
Performance notes
The camera sends video to the viewer over a dedicated wireless link, so no home network is needed. Night viewing uses infrared light, and the digital zoom crops the image, which softens detail at higher magnification.
