Overview
An adjustable dome camera mounts on a nursery wall and connects over Wi-Fi in the HelloBaby HB32. The listing names a night color view, eight infrared LEDs and a controller type tied to a smart home service.
What stands out is the Wi-Fi connection and voice control, plus a night view in color. The limit is a listing that gives resolution in two ways and a weight that looks like an error, which makes the real picture quality hard to judge.
Who it's for
Households with a nursery wall and a home Wi-Fi network will find the connection and night view useful. Parents who want a screen in their hand, or a monitor that works without Wi-Fi, should look at a different type.
Pros and cons
- Night color view
- Voice control listed
- Optical and digital zoom
- Resolution figures conflict
- Weight figure looks wrong
- Needs Wi-Fi to work
Performance notes
The camera streams video over Wi-Fi, so results depend on the signal strength at the nursery. Night viewing uses infrared LEDs, and the zoom combines optical and digital steps, with digital zoom softening the image at higher magnification.
