Overview
Buckling this Diono seat in with the vehicle seat belt is the whole installation story the listing tells. It faces forward, is built from plastic and is listed for an older child.
The reason to look at it is the low item weight and the high capacity, which suit a family that moves a seat between cars. The limit is the missing detail: no minimum weight, no harness description and no standards are named.
Who it's for
Parents of an older child who has outgrown a smaller seat and rides facing forward will find the capacity and low weight useful. Anyone with an infant or toddler needing a rear-facing position must choose a different seat.
Pros and cons
- High weight capacity
- Light item weight
- Seat belt installation
- Forward facing only
- Minimum weight unlisted
- Harness details missing
Performance notes
A forward-facing seat holds the child against the vehicle seat back through the seat belt path, so the result depends on a tight belt fit and a correct route. The low weight makes it easy to move, but the listing gives no detail on harness or padding.
