A backless booster that lifts an older child so the vehicle belt crosses the body correctly, across many school years. It gives no head support, so it needs a vehicle seat back that does.

Overview
Alloy steel and aluminum parts form the frame of this backless Diono booster, finished in pink with plastic and polyethylene surfaces. The listing says it installs with the vehicle seat belt and faces forward.
What stands out is the broad range: it starts at a moderate weight and height and runs to the larger sizes, so one booster covers many school years. The limit is that nothing is said about cup holders, folding or a belt guide.
Who it's for
Parents of a grade-school child riding forward will find the weight and height range clear, along with a light body that moves between cars. Younger children below the minimum, or anyone wanting a high back, need a different seat.
Pros and cons
- Wide weight and height range
- Light enough to move between cars
- Metal frame parts
- Includes the instruction manual
- Backless, no head support
- Minimum weight is a hard floor
- Fold and cup holder details missing
Performance notes
A booster raises the child so the lap and shoulder belt rest on the hips and collarbone, which makes belt position the key factor. Without a back, it relies on the vehicle seat for head and neck support.
