Overview
A parent of a forward-facing toddler gets a Chicco seat built from metal, plastic and polyester, held to the vehicle by Latch.
A seat this light moves easily between vehicles, and the stated capacity is high. The limitation is that Latch is the only install named and nothing is said about the harness or the height range.
Who it's for
Families that share a seat across two cars and have anchors in both can read the listing as written. Parents of a baby who must face the rear, or buyers wanting a belt install, should look at other products.
Pros and cons
- Forward-facing toddler design
- Latch installation named
- Very low listed seat weight
- Metal, plastic and polyester build
- Seat belt install not listed
- Harness type missing
- Height limits missing
Performance notes
Latch ties the shell to anchors in the vehicle, so the result depends on the anchors being present and the strap being pulled snug. The mixed metal and plastic build points to a structural frame, though the listing does not say where.
