Overview
Joie built the C1220FASHA900 as a forward-facing seat for toddlers, with a polyester cover and a vehicle seat belt installation. The listing offers little beyond those basics.
A low listed seat weight makes moving it between vehicles realistic, and the stated capacity leaves room for a growing child. The limitation is how little the listing says: no harness style, no height limits and no Latch option.
Who it's for
A parent with a toddler ready to face forward and a vehicle with a usable seat belt path will find the specs workable. Families with an infant, or anyone who wants Latch installation, should look at another model.
Pros and cons
- Forward-facing toddler seat
- Seat belt installation listed
- High stated weight capacity
- Low listed seat weight
- No Latch install listed
- Harness type not listed
- Height limits missing
Performance notes
A forward-facing seat relies on the vehicle seat belt being routed and locked correctly, because the belt is the only anchor the listing names. Tightness at the belt path matters more than any cushioning, since the seat spreads crash forces across the child's body.
