Overview
A workshop with rough boards to level is where this corded Skil belt sander belongs, and the item type names a pressure control feature. It has a rectangular body and plugs into a standard outlet.
Pressure control and a common belt format suit stock removal on flat boards. The limitation is the lack of listed belt speed and dust handling.
Who it's for
Bench work that removes material quickly from flat stock is the situation. Shoppers after detail sanding, curved surfaces or battery power should look at a different type of sander.
Pros and cons
- Pressure control named
- Steady corded power
- Medium grit type
- Belt speed not listed
- Dust collection unspecified
Performance notes
The belt runs continuously over the surface, so removal rate depends on grit and downward force, and the pressure control feature helps hold that force steady. Motor current sets how well it holds speed under load.
